Gamer's Haven hosted the "Battle of the Block" as The Wanderers faced up to the Tygrz. The Wanderers received first and eschewed the cage in favour of a more open running game. The Tygrz duly brought it and started breaking through the line forcing the Chaos thrower to make an early dash for the score. He just avoided the clutches of the Orcs to give The Wanderers a 1-0 lead. With plenty of time on the clock as they received the kick, the Tygrz caged. An over-keen blocker pushed forward just too far though and the Beastmen leapt through the gap and loosed the ball. For the rest of the half neither team could hold onto the slippery pig's bladder and the Chaos team went in to the half time break slightly happier at 1-0 up, but having lost Mugor to an well timed Orc frenzy. The Heat took it's toll on The Wanderers at the start of the second half and they lined up to kick with only 7 men against 11 Tygrz. The Orcs made no mistake with the running cage and quickly equalised to make the score 1-1. With both teams back to 11 players, a long kick left the Chaos thrower deep in his own half and, surprisingly, he stayed there while he waited for one of the two receivers to break free. When one finally did, it needed all of Snarzob's throwing ability to make the long bomb. Clever blocking left a single Orc in blitz range only for that Orc to fail the block allowing the Beastman to dodge and run in for the 2-1 lead. On the last play, the chaos team kicked deep nullifing the Goblin one-turn and forcing the Tygrz into a 2-turn throwing game. With 2 receivers in place, the Orcs failed to collect the ball allowing The Wanderers to injure one and surround the other. The Orcs couldn't get into position to throw and the game ended with a hard earned chaos victory, The Wanderers lauding the win with a last turn foul which Knocked out the Tygrz' Troll.

The Wanderers faced up against the 'Philes at the Nihildome tonight knowing they had never previously returned a result of any kind against the W'Elves. Neverless they won the toss, elected to kick and brought their best Crush 'n' Rush game with a first turn Mugor led blitz on "1-turn" Galathon. His knee was smashed to give a new twist on his nickname. The 'Philes' star Wardancer soon joined the catcher in the W'Elf casualty box with Mugor scoring the points again. The Philes' ran into space and scored, but the Chaos were on top despite being 1-0 down. The Chaos received the second kick and caged well. Pressure on the cage forced an easy 2+ dodge, but the Chaos thrower failed the dodge and the re-roll. The 'Philes were able to collect under pressure and run in for an early and seemingly decisive 2-0 lead. The Wanderers still had time to reply and duly set to business pounding elves into the turf and moving up the pitch, pausing only to kill a newbie elf. A last ditch 'Phile blitz loosed the ball and the Wanderers's catcher failed the simplest of pick-ups on the last turn to leave the Chaos dispirited and 2-0 down at half time. Casualties and KOs were beginning to tell though, and when Mugor sent Quercus the Treeman to the injury box, the tide began to turn. The Wanderers ran a textbook quick running score to bring them back in the game at 2-1. Only 6 'Philes lined up at the start of the next drive and, as a result, they were forced into a running play. The Wanderers covered and knocked the ball loose but they couldn't collect with the 'Philes in easy reach of a winning score. However, the inexperienced Elf catcher also fumbled the ball and a Beastman blitzer picked up the bounce. The Chaos team caged and as the last seconds ticked away Snarzob the star thrower barreled up the pitch leaving his support trailing far behind. With only 3 Elves left and only one in range of Snarzob, he swatted the last gasp blitz aside and ran in for a hard earned equaliser and 2-2. With Galathon injured, the W'Elves didn't have enough time to score and the Wanderers finally got their first result against the two time champions.

A frustrating start to the half as the Hammerers spent the entire half mired in midfield as the Raiders matched them block-for-block for the first quarter. By the time dwarven punishment took its toll on the tiring elves it was just too late. A last turn desperation attempt to score lay in the hands of a troll slayer but he fumbled the ball and the first half ended scoreless. The second half saw just seven elves take the field but despite dogged dwarven pressure the elves neves of steel catcher gathered in a pass and handed off dwarven tacklers as he deftly maneouvered down the sideline for the opening score. With seven turns left the Hammerers were confident of gaining a draw at least. However a blitz on kick-off followed by a botched hand-off saw the dwarves in serious trouble and a second score seemed inevitable for the Raiders. However, the dwarves hired gun saved the day as a lightning bolt knocked over the chief elven threat. Unable to secure the ball the elves attempted to make the dwarves life as difficult as possible but solid blocking saw the Hammerers get control of the ball and secure it within the confines of a cage. Despite ferocious, dogged defence from the Raiders they were unable to stop the dwarf machine rolling down the field for a tying, last-turn score.

WF10! (with tha assistance of star player Skitter Stab-Stab) triumphed over the Slann horde of Chotek's Chosen at the Valhalla ground. With pouring rain making the ball slipperier than a greased goblin, both teams had trouble handling it in the first half. A series of missed pick-ups and fumbled hand-offs saw the ball inch into the Slann half until, finally, the Warpies managed to put it into the hands (paws?) of Skitter Stab-Stab who raced away to make the touchdown just before the half-time whistle. During the break the skies cleared and the rain stopped. In the better conditions the Slann were able to score a quick equaliser and then steal the drive for the go-ahead score despite a well aimed fireball from the underworld's tame wizard. With time running down, WF10! once again got the ball to their Star player, despite desperate defence by the Slann mr.Stab-Stab was able to dodge clear to equalise once more. With just seconds left on the clock, Chotek set-up to receive and secure the draw but WF10! blitzed the kick, ran down the Slann deep field players, grabbed the ball and ran in a winning TD. Score WF10! 3-2 Chotek, just one casualty on the Slann team who'll miss the next match.
